א בכל שיעור-רישום שלי אני מודע לנוכחותו של הירש, אבל בשני השיעורים שנתתי לפני חודש הוא היה במובהק. בבוקר (שיעור צבעי-מים, שנה א’) הצבתי במרכז החדר גוף-תאורה, כדי להאיר במה לבנה שעמדה תחתיו. עליה, ליד המרכז, הנחתי ספר סגור בכריכה שחורה. התרגיל היה: “ציירו את התפוז שמונח על הבמה. אתם יכולים להניח אותו או על הרקע הלבן או על הרקע השחור”. שום תפוז לא נמצא על הבמה, אבל עשרים תפוזים שונים היו נוכחים לבסוף על דפי הרישום בכיתה, והם היו אמיתיים לא פחות מכל תפוז שהיה עשוי להימצא שם בגופו.

חסד ושעת רצון: השבוע יצא שראיתי ציורים מרגשים של אחת האמניות הצעירות הכישרוניות בציון. בעיוורוני, לא חשבתי עליה לתערוכה זו; שמחתי לשוב ולראות אמנית מרהיבה באישיותה ובמעשה ידיה; וגם נעצבתי. מה קורה בישראל לאנשים הכישרוניים ביותר, ליוצרים (אמנים, אוצרים, כותבים) החמושים במצפן? פעמים רבות מדי, מכל הסיבות הרעות, ואולי בראשן המכוער אופיו הרע של עולם האמנות (והאדם), הם לא יבואו לביטוי ראוי, או לביטוי כלל. תחתם ינסקו הבינוניים לרקיע. אין לי מושג ירוק מה יוליד מחר לקוורטט המיוחד שאתם פוגשים עכשיו, אבל החורף עודנו באיבו – אפור וארוך וקשה.
